Recently, China Oil and Gas Pipeline Engineering Technology Research Center Co., Ltd. successfully completed the first full-scale expansion test of high-grade steel   spiral welded pipes   in China. Three spiral welded pipes of φ1219×22mm and X80 steel grade were used in the experiment. According to different expansion rates, grouped batch expansion tests were carried out on the whole pipe length. After more than half year of preparatory work, from the preliminary investigation to the formulation of the experimental plan, the experiment has been successfully completed.
